New Goal Obsession
Goal Obsession Blog started on May 1, 2021. At that point, I started it only for people who were considering becoming freelancers. I was planning to speak about the processes involved in freelancing, what you can expect from money vise, and how to manage it psychologically. Now after 2 years of constant changes in my life, at the end of 2023, the idea evolved drastically.
In short, now I understand the importance of having a passive income more than ever and I want to build those with you, looking over my shoulder.

Plans for Goal Obsession blog and YouTube channel for 2024
I always was curious to try as many online businesses as possible, and decided, why not try them AND share all of this knowledge with the rest of you.
Don’t take me wrong, I still going to make some videos about freelancing, but there are going to be also work sessions (some of them you already can see in the “Work with me. Live sessions” playlist) where I am actually going to work on setting up all my “passive income” businesses. This way you can work with me while I am live, ask me questions if you have some and you will see the whole… I mean the WHOLE process how it’s done, how much time it consumes, and how long it takes to get profitable. You will find videos with analytics and stats about every business we will work on.
Most of the staff I will do will be new to me as well, so we will learn together, and because it will be live sessions you will be able to see my thought process and how I look for information- that is a very important skill in this modern age and even more important if you want to try yourself in a freelancer area.
The first two months of the 2024 year and the first 2 projects
The first two projects we are going to work on will be Local e-commerce for photographers and POD (print-on-demand) Goal Obsession store.
My dear friend here in Monterrey, Mexico is a photographer and videographer. She makes her pictures in a very special style: photo-Impressionism. I have been always impressed by her pictures and lately, I have been pushing her to start actually making money of it. And finally, she agreed.
My first big project of this year will be helping her set up her online store on Shopify and promoting it via Facebook and IG ads. (Read the next post about our strategy and approach to this project)
The second project will be all about Goal Obsession.
There will be 2 parts of it:
- We will need to update the existing website.
- We will set up a print-on-demand store and promote it with Facebook and IG ads.
The expected timeline
The photographer project will require some preparation before we start working on the e-commerce website itself, something that can be done in couple weeks, so my assumption that live sessions about it will start in the mid January and if we will have all the content and pictures ready to post, the store can be lunched in February 5 but lets give us time till February 15.
The Goal Obsession in another hand can be worked on already.
Part 1: Update the blog website. Will start to work on this website next week and will do it on the live session. Would be nice to finish it next week too but will give myself time of two weeks till January 14 2024.
Currently goalobsession.com runs on Beaver Builder page builder. It’s an amazing builder but lately (literally for the last 2 years) at my agency we using Elementor to build websites. In my opinion it’s more flexible (and its sims less buggy) + there are so many templates for Elementor to speed up the process of website creation. So in my live sessions you will be able to see the whole process how I take a template and use it to make the blog.
Part 2: Shopify store with Print-on-demand products. I will start to work on this part of the project in February. The timing will depend a lot on how fast we will finish the Photographer website.
There are also gonna be some preparations that could take at least a week or two even before we start setting up Shopify store. I will prepare a separate article for that with a check list to download so you can start to work on your own project in parallel.
And ideally we launch that Shopify store no later than March 15 and start to promote it with Facebook Ads.
Conclusion
I am very excited to start this journey and I am tired procrastinate on this project. Goal Obsession has been always in my heart, I know how many people it can help and I am hopeful to reach as many as possible. Our modern age gives us so many opportunities and I want to try as many as possible of them. And I want to show you all the cons and pros of it so you can decide which of them you want to try by yourself.
And lets not forget the other part of all of this journey…I will still need to build my Instagram and YouTube following 😉 those are going to be my other projects that you will be able to see behind the scenes.
